Biography
Samuel Melbourne Hutchinson was born Jan. 29, 1898, son of Samuel J. and Ada (Hilderley) Hutchinson of Harrington West. A Methodist and a farmer, he enlisted on Jan. 12, 1916, and joined the 168th Battalion. He was severely injured during the war, after which he owned property on Lot 16, Concession 5, and Lot 15, Concession 7.
Badly injured in the First World War, Samuel Melbourne Hutchinson (born Jan. 29, 1898) of Harrington also served in the Second World War. From 1923-1952 he owned property on the southwest corner of Lot 16, Concession 5. He also owned land on Lot 15, Concession 7.
