Biography
Born in Devonshire, England, Samuel James Hutchinson (1870-1937) married Ada Hilderley and lived in Harrington West. A contractor, he enlisted on Feb. 2, 1917, and served with the 257th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He had previously served four years with the 10th Grenadiers, Toronto. In West Zorra, he owned property on Lot 28, Concession 4, and on Lot 15, Concession 7.
