Biography
As a youngster, Fred Garner lived briefly on Lot 4, Concession 5. He was a son of Francis William (Frank) and Fannie (nee Major) Garner. Fred returned from overseas war service with an English-born bride Grace Manning and they lived at 121 Commissioner St., Embro, before moving to Glencoe. Together they raised five children - June, Barry, Fred, Kathy and Rosemary.
