Biography
Sirby Frost of Lot 13, Concession 2, joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in December 1955 and trained at St. Jean, Que, and Trenton. He was then stationed at Lachine, Que. (1955-56); Langar, England (1956-58); Sardinia (1958-59); Downsview (1959-61); Trenton (1961-67); Gatwick, London, England (1967-70); Trenton (1970-72); and Borden (1972-78). His time at Borden included a six-moth tour at the United Nations’ peacekeeping headquarters in Ismalia, Egypt. He was then at Air Command headquarters in Winnipeg (1978-84); Canadian Forces Bases in Toronto (1984-88); and National Defence headquarters, Ottawa (1988-92). He was made a captain in 1984, and retired in 1992.
