Biography

William Murray Sutherland (born Feb. 2, 1920) of Lot 31, Concession 3, was a carpenter in Toronto and London before he enlisted with the Army in London, Ont. He trained in Kitchener and served with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps. He died on May 28, 1942, in Red Deer, Alta., of complications from scarlet fever and measles. He was buried in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Harrington West.
