Biography

James A. Sanders (Feb. 22, 1880-1940), son of James and Ann (Grant) Sanders, married Margaret Alexander, who died at age 25 on Nov. 8, 1912. As a widower, James enlisted on Jan. 10, 1916, and served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force. He listed his mother, Annie Smith, as next of kin. As of 1911 they were living on Commissioner Street in Embro.
