Biography

Alexander Innes Reid was born Dec. 16, 1873, in Harrington West, son of Donald and Jane (Innes) Reid. At time of his enlistment, on Sept. 20, 1914, he was an unmarried stone mason. He had also served seven months in the Boer War. He died on June 15, 1915, and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial, Pas-de-Calais, France.
