Biography

Roy Porter was a son of Thomas Porter who, for a short while, ran the drugstore at 114 Commissioner St. in Embro. When he enlisted on July 27, 1915, Roy was a bank clerk. He was with the 34th (Fort Garry Horse) Battalion and the Winnipeg Grenadiers.
