Biography
Donald Walter Gordon Murray was born in Stratford on May 29, 1894, a son of John and Elizabeth Murray of Lot 34, Concession 3. His medical training was interrupted in 1917 when he went overseas and fought at Ypres, the Somme and Vimy Ridge. He finished his medical training in 1921, and became a notable surgeon in Toronto. He became famous for researching and developing treatment for blue babies. He died in 1976.
