Biography

Leman James Laur was born Feb. 25, 1898, in Oxford County. At time of his enlistment, he was an unmarried brakeman, said to be living in Embro. His parents were Lafayette and Ida Laur. He died on Oct. 11, 1918, and is commemorated in Niagara Cemetery, Iwuy, Nord, France.
