Biography
Holger Christian Lange, born April 18, 1919 in Denmark, was the son of John and Elna (nee Holm-Hansen) Lange. Upon moving to Canada in 1923, the family lived first in Ponoka, Alberta and then moved to Lot 10 Concession 3 of West Zorra. Holger enlisted in Kitchener and was stationed at Petawawa with the Royal Canadian Engineers. When his unit shipped out he was in the infirmary with multiple infectious diseases. He remained at Petawawa as an Office clerk. On July 24, 1943 he married Janet Ross McCorquodale. They later farmed on Lots 21 and 22, Concession 7 of West Zorra Township and raised 3 daughters - Judy, Chris and Mary.
