Biography

Glen Hume, a son of James and Allie Hume of Lot 13, Concession 5.He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, as a Leading Aircraftman.

He was accidently drowned August 9, 1942, in the South Sask. River, at Lethbridge, Alberta, while training as a Air Gunner.  A Military funeral was conducted from  #14 Service FlyingTraining School in Alymer, and he is buried in North Embro Cemetery. He drowned in Alberta.
