Biography
John Hoblyn [Jack] Hawke (born June 7, 1911) of 76 John St., Embro, was a banker when he enlisted on Aug. 4, 1943, in Uxbridge. He trained in Toronto and at Camp Shilo, Man., and in November 1943 was assigned to the Royal Canadian Regiment. He served in pay duties in Toronto. Released from active service on Dec. 7, 1944, he returned to conventional banking and was assigned to a branch in Beaverton.
