Biography
John Duncan Green was born near Fairview in Perth County on Feb. 5, 1895, but was living in West Zorra Township when he enlisted for military service. At that time, he was an unmarried farmer and a Presbyterian. His mother was Mary Ann Green.
John had his medical examination in Stratford, November 3, 1917 and was recruited May 21, 1918.
