George Sutherland German was born April 1, 1892, son of John and Elizabeth Isabella (Sutherland) German. He worked on his father’s farm and later for William German on Lot 1, Concession 6. He enlisted in the Canadian Army but never went overseas. After the war he lived in Detroit, Alberta and British Columbia. He died July 24, 1967.
