Biography
George Earl Evans was born Aug. 30, 1895, in Fullarton Township, Perth County, but when he answered the call for military service on May 17, 1918, he was a farmer and using a West Zorra address. His sister Isabella married Edward Shortt, who owned land on Lot 28, Concession 4, and on Lot 29, Concession 6.
