Blair, Dorothy Madeleine

Dorothy Madeleine Blair of Lot 9, Concession 2, enlisted on June 3, 1943, in London, Ont., and served with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps. After basic training in Kitchener, she was stationed in Woodstock for six months. In 1944 she took more training in Toronto and was posted to Saskatoon, then London, where she worked in an office attached to the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. It was also in London where she was discharged from service, on Aug. 1, 1946.
