Biography

While serving with the army, Desmond Henry Blackman, son of Henry and Ada Blackman was injured and died of his wounds on Dec. 18, 1943, in Italy. He left behind his wife Anne V. Blackman and son Terry Blackman of London, United Kingdom.  He is commemorated in the Moro River Canadian War Cemetery in Italy.
