Biography

Harold Armstrong (born 1906), son of Charles Armstrong, was a carpenter when he enlisted in Woodstock in September 1941. Connected to the Royal Canadian Engineers, Harold served in Woodstock, at Wolseley Barracks in London and at Centralia. The Armstrong family rented land on Lot 4, Concession 8, before moving to Oxford Centre in East Oxford Township.
