Biography
Private John Alexander Young, RCA, (born 1916) was the son of Elizabeth MacGregor and James Sanford Young of Lot 3, Concession 10, East Nissouri Township. In 1942, he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers and went overseas that year, serving until 1945. He married Betty Tanner who also served in World War II.
