Biography
John Tay was a Captain in the 8th Battalion, Oxford Militia (Nissouri), from1849 to at least June 1852. He lived at Lot 19 Con 9 and served as Town Clerk for East Nissouri Township, 1848-1850, and was Treasurer in 1852.
