Biography
Janet Anne Stewart was the daughter of Alice Beattie and Charles Stewart of Thamesford. She enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force. She drove a vehicle transporting officers while posted in Quebec. She met and married Bill Lane from Wales who was with the RAF and at the end of the war they moved to Dorchester, Ontario.
