Charles Burley/Burleigh Mitchell was from Lot 25 Concession 12 of East Nissouri Township. He enlisted in October 1917 but did not go overseas as he suffered an ankle injury in Canada and received a discharge certificate in November 1918. He is buried Christ Church Cemetery, Lakeside.
