McKay, Gordon Cameron

Gordon Cameron McKay was the son of Grace Stokes and Calvin McKay of Lot 14 Concession 13, East Nissouri Township. He served overseas after training in Chatham and Ipperwash. Prior to enlisting he was employed as a cheesemaker at the Blanshard and Nissouri Cheese and Butter Co. at Wellburn. He married Marjorie Allen after the war and for a short time, was acting postmaster in Kintore while also operating the store there.
