Albert Lynn Baker was a student in London, Ontario when he signed up in 1916. He served overseas with the Medical Corps at the 10th Stationary Hospital in Calais, France and was mentioned in a dispatch from Field Marshall Sir Douglas Haig for gallant and distinguished service in the field. His parents were Ida May Pelton and Philip of Lot 22 Concession 1 and then Lot 22 Concession 14. When he returned he graduated in dental surgery and started his practice in Stratford, Ontario where he lived with his wife, Helen Ewart and son William.
