Biography

Leading Aircraftsman James Warren Arthur  is the son of John and Lillian of Lot 22 Concession 9. He enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1943 at the age of 32. He belonged to the 83 group-52 Military Field Hospital (M.F.H.) and served in the U.K. and Europe as a hospital assistant. He was honourably discharged in 1946 at which time he was transferred to the Reserve General Section Class "E". He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp.
