Ural Kealey was the son of Wm. J. and Christina Kealey of Thamesford and a brother of Christopher Kealey who also served in WW 1. He was born on August 11, 1893. Ural enlisted on March 25th, 1915 and served in France with the 18th Batallion, Canadian Expeditionery Force. On his Attestation papers he listed his trade as a butcher. His Registration number was 54302. Ural was discharged on March 31, 1918 with a "disability due to service". He later passed away on April 16, 1947.
