Biography
Frank Royston Webb was born August 29, 1922, in Beachville and that is where he was raised. Frank joined the Oxford Rifles in 1942 along with many of the other “Beachville Boys”. He was assigned out west to Prince George. He also served with the Queen’s Own Rifles out of Winnipeg. After serving six months of active duty in France, and being wounded twice he returned home by hospital plane. These wounds affected his physical activities in later years. After returning home Frank worked at Truck Engineering in Woodstock from 1948 to 1970 when he retired. Frank died February 15, 2011.
