Biography
Arthur Wilson Rinn was born on November 15, 1916 on the Base Line just outside of Woodham in Blanshard Township, Perth County, on the farm which had been cleared and purchased by his family from the Crown in the late 1840s. He had been a truck driver all his life including his time serving with the 6th Division Armoured in World War II in France, Holland and Belgium, where he drove ammunition vehicles. He was in Holland during the liberation of the Dutch people.
