Biography
Alvin Maurice Nadalin, was the eighth son born to Anthony and Mary Beatrice (Mote) Nadalin on April 06 1929 . It was a sad time as this was three months after the death of his father, Anthony, who was killed in a work accident at the quarry on January 10, 1929.
Alvin was too young to serve in World War II but was enrolled in the Sea Cadets during that time. After the war, Alvin was employed at one of the quarries in Beachville for his entire career. He married Patricia Joyce Watt March 31, 1951 in Ingersoll, Ontario. Linda Marie Nadalin arrived on November 22, 1951, William Alvin Nadalin was born October 26, 1952, Richard Anthony was born February 04, 1960 and Dianne Elizabeth Nadalin arrived on August 10, 1964.
Tragically on July 27, 1972, Linda was killed in a car accident near Curries, just outside of Woodstock Ontario. Not even a year later, on May 06, 1973, Richard was tragically taken from them due to a tractor accident on the farm of one of their friends.
On January 03, 1987 Alvin suffered a heart attack while snowblowing the driveway and died. He is buried in the Oxford Memorial Cemetery in Woodstock Ontario.
