James Percival Karn was born July 11, 1889 in Beachville, Ontario. When he enlisted on July 12, 1915 he noted he had no prior military experience. He wrote he was single, was a film coater by trade and he listed his next-of-kin as Amri Karn of Beachville. James Karn was from Thamesford. He noted that he was a moulder by trade when he enlisted. He was a member of the 38th Dufferin Rifles. James was killed in 1918.
