King Hueston Clendinning was born January 19, 1887. He attended Banner School and lived at Lot 21 Concession 5 in North Oxford. His Attestation Papers list his next-of-kin as his father, James Clendinning of R.R. #3, Ingersoll. He was a cheesemaker prior to serving in the 168th Battalion of the Army.
