Roy Heuston Baigent was born June 26, 1895 in North Oxford at Lot 21 Concession 2. He attended Dickson’s School and resided at R.R. 3, Ingersoll. Roy was married April 3, 1918. At the time of his enlistment on November 1, 1918, Roy stated that he was a farmer and listed elsie Baigent as his wife and next-of-kin. He also listed his religious affiliation as Presbyterian.
